The Elder’s Call Poster
I made this 26x30 poster as a team gift for the launch of XCOM 2: War of the Chosen. I was the art director on the game and this poster features the work of our amazing team at Firaxis.
I lit and rendered this using the game assets by the amazing XCOM art team in our engine which is a heavily modified UE3.
On the left is the very first sketch I did of this key art during an early meeting with our Creative Director. I knew early on I wanted to create a showcase piece for the team. I am extremely proud of the work the team has done on this game and being able to showcase their work at this resolution is a testament to the quality of the art created for this title. This was one of the most rewarding projects of my career so far and I owe that experience to the amazing artists I worked with daily. Thank you.
